Etienne & Schantel

While we were in Las Vegas for the WPPI conference, Schantel, Etienne, Tanya and I went on a trip to one of the many Wedding Chapels in Vegas. Schantel & Etienne got married about 5 years ago (and I took their wedding photos), so when they went for their Renewal of Vows, I was fortunate enough to document it too. We referred to the event as the Shotgun Wedding, we had a ridiculously drunk Groom and us ladies only had a glass of wine each, which is more than enough for us to have a really good time. Read more

Eugene & Vanessa {Potbelly}

I got to shoot Eugene and Vanessa wedding in the beginning of 2010 and one of the things I loved about this couple, and still do, is their smiles! They always have beautiful smiles on their faces, Vanessa is one of the happiest people I know, and Eugene one of the funniest :) Vanessa phoned me last year when she got pregnant and said that she wanted me to remember that she wants photos taken, well...fast forward 8 months and here we are. The shoot was 2 weeks before their little baby girl, Mihlan, was born. I normally do pregnancy shoots between 32-38 weeks, thats when the belly looks its best and roundest ;) Congratulations guys, I know she's going to make you smile even more. Read more

Sanga & Lebo {I’m Yours}

After this awesome Jazz inspired shoot that we had, we went outside for some natural shots. We walked around the campus to all the beautiful spots. Lebo is very natural and loves to laugh...and she loves to look at her fiance. One thing Lebo didn't know was that while I was talking to Sanga on the phone one day, he told me that they never officially got engaged, because of the Lobola custom they have. Read more

Sanga & Lebo {I’m Yours} Part1

I met Siyasanga & Lebo a couple of months ago and was extremely excited to do their shoot for two reasons...Reason one: Sanga, as Lebo calls him, is learning how to play the saxophone and Lebo is learning how to play the piano. Francois & Janine {Part 2}

And here follows the second part of Francois & Janine's wedding. As you can see, Janine doesn't hold back when it comes to sweet things (this includes her hubby). I am so in the mood for chocolate fondue right now its not even funny! It was a beautiful wedding and I'm so glad I could be a part of it.
