Jan & Leanie {Part II}

Part 2 of Jan & Leanie's wedding. I have a little treat for you on this post, there is a little dance clip below with the two of them, I think its the cutest thing ever! They had Chinese lanterns that was let go as they arrived at the venue, the police arrived at the scene and asked what was going on, they thought it might land somewhere and start a fire - it did almost land on my head, but fortunately I'm quick...luckily no one was locked up, nothing was burned down and everyone who let a lantern go had to say a prayer for the couple. Stefan & Cecile {Part II}

Here follows Stefan & Ceciles wedding portrait session/Trash the Dress. Because it was rainy and windy and cold on the wedding day, we decided to do the couple portrait session the day after the wedding. We woke up really early to find a warm sun rising over Victoria Bay. We went to those beautiful rocks and were lucky to get some shots with a surfer in the background too. After that we braved the cold water but it was seriously too cold, its a shame we couldn't have the East Coasts' warm Mozambique sea current. Even the sand was icy, but we luckily got some shots where the two of them actually went into the water. Read more

Stefan & Cecile {Ever After}

Today I'm blogging Stefan & Cecile's wedding that took place in Victoria Bay, near George. If you don't know CAPE weather, you can be sure that there will be a surprise waiting for you if you think that the day will work out exactly as you think. This day started all sunny and summery, but by early afternoon the clouds started clouding and by the time we were ready for the ceremony it was rainy and very VERY cold. Stefan & Cecile wanted to have an outside wedding, but due to the cold we were forced to close up the reception area and make it nice and cosy for the ceremony (I'm not complaining, it was very nice inside - and as you might have realized, I dont like the cold that much). Stefan & Cecile {I’m Yours}

What can I say about Cecile and Stefan, they each are 1 in a million, I have never met a couple like them before, they know exactly what they want out of life and won't let anything get in their way, they show their love to everyone without being shy about I think no matter what they do, they make sure they are having fun. They met at the age of 19, and even though their lives went different paths, they stayed good friends, always giving a shoulder to cry on when one needed it. And after 23 years of friendship they are finally together. Cecile is a Embryologist and Stefan a teacher (something tells me they love kids ;) Their wedding was going to be on a beach in Victoria Bay, it is such a stunning place with only a couple of homes right on the water. The place has this vibe, its so relaxing and calming, a definite must if you would like to escape from the city. Read more
