In South Africa we are so fortunate to have domestic workers that can work for us serveral days or more a week to help keep our houses neat and tidy. I've been a little lazy with posting about myself, and even though I can say that I've been busy, it should not be an excuse. A lot of friends and clients have been asking for a little update on my beautiful baby, Rambo. He is the cutest doggie in the whole wide world. He is my best friend and trusty noble steed, he protects me from danger and goes on normal house hold adventures with me, we play hide-n-seek, he follows me around wherever I go, he loves his Teddy and when I leave, he lays by the stairs and leans his head on the rail :(, when I leave my sock drawer open, he steels my socks and whenever I'm angry at him he thinks I want to play. Josef & Lorraine {Part ii}

After the ceremony, the couple and I went to Kambaku Golf Course to take some couple portraits. The green and red looks so good together! Here the couple really had a chance to have a good look at each other and spend a little time together before starting their big party. They took a boat ride from Lorraines' parents house all the way down the dam towards the reception. I especially love the photo where they give me the titanic pose. Read more

If you have seen the booth photos you'll know by now that the colour scheme was red. It's not a colour used often by my brides, but it came out so beautiful - it just popped, and it all tied in! The wedding was in my home town, Komatipoort, a small town on the border of Mozambique, and the reception was on the Lourens' family farm - next to the waters of a beautiful dam, where lots of family and friends awaited the couple to arrive by boat. Stephen and Natalie are both kind, soft hearted and stunning inside & out. Their wedding was this past weekend, it was absolutely stunning, a week before the wedding we did a couple shoot and I thought this will be a great treat for them, since the two of them are only going on honeymoon in October :( We went to Kaapsehoop for the engagement session, the weather was absolutely stunning and of course the horses walking about was a beautiful sight to see.
