Yesterday evening 11/11/11 a new little 'van Dyk' came to say hello to the world. I am so happy that I find myself in tears every time I think of this beautiful little thing that God brought into our lives, so small in this big world, it feels so surreal to hold him, I cannot believe this little man is finally here. He weighs 3.16kg and is a heathy with all 10 fingers and 10 toes! If you haven't seen Ruan & Marie's wedding, you better go check it out, it is out of this world! The Ridiculously Awesome booth was a lot of fun, we used the wall of Magnolia with the big Five Roses board as background. I probably don't have to say much about this wedding, as the photos will speak for itself, but if you know me, you'll know I always have to say something...well, mostly I am speechless, the venue was so beautiful (like its ever not been pretty) one of my favourite venue's, Magnolia! The bride, the groom - Hot and Handsome, and the emotion...completely there (I'm hoping I'm not the only photographer telling the bride not to stop crying - I love it!) when it is your wedding you can cry if you want to! Ruan and Marie's day was magical with one teeny tiny mishap on my part...as I said, the venue was really pretty and I kind of lost track of time when photographing the decor, so much so that I actually almost didn't make it to church in time (a first...I promise - and definitely the last), a beautiful day with amazing people. My 10 year high school reunion was a couple of weeks ago and soooo much fun! Nelspruit Hoerskool! whoohoo! We put up a Ridiculously Awesome Booth for everyone and decorated the tables with all the sweets we used to eat when we were younger, ands some books and bottels with memories tokens from school. I think I speak on behalf of everyone that was there, when I say that it was a lot of fun and we should really do this every 5 years. Read more
