The first thing we normally do with the new year, is set new years resolutions, but the first thing we should do is thank our Maker. This year I’m starting right! I want to thank God for all the good that he brought in 2011 (the highlight of my year; my new baby nephew, Carl Joseph) I want to thank God for carrying me through the pain and failure of this past year (God has a plan with everything that happens to us, weather its to make us stronger or to help us appreciate what we have, and sometimes so that we can help someone else, here is a blog post you should read by Lizelle Lotter), I pray today that God will bless us all in this unknown year that lies ahead of us and that He will guide us in the right direction in 2012.

A very very Happy New Year to all my family, friends, clients and readers!

Its always strange to think that a year can go so quickly, I mean, its 365 days but for some reason it just always flies by and before you know it, the new year is here! I just want to say a very belated Merry Christmas to everyone, I hope you were all fortunate enough to be among your loved ones. I pray that everyone will arrive back home safely, be extra careful on the roads – like my dad always says; “I’m not worried about you driving, I’m worried about the other guy not following road rules” be alert and drive slowly! The blog posts of all last years shoots not published yet, will start coming up from the 10th of January and I will be in office to attend to all unanswered emails and send album layouts to all clients on the 12th. Until then, I leave you with a photo of a new soul, with new beginnings and great adventures that lies ahead.
