I flew to Cape Town the week before Christmas to do 2 engagement sessions, its weird, but both 'brides-to-be' went to school with me, Lené & Tanya - all 3 of us grew up in the Lowveld and went to different primary schools in different towns but ended up in hostel together in Hoërskool Nelspruit. My first shoot was with Wallace & Lené (oh and little Chilli ~ their adorable Yorkie, who actually sings to the tune of 7de laan - it's priceless!). Meeting Bertus & Surina, was a pleasant surprise. They are very down-to-earth, you can see how much they love each other and their love story plays like a movie, they met when they were 12 years old, Surina was the shy, innocent girl and Bertus the 'badass' who was always in trouble. My second last wedding for the year was Christine & Jonathan's wedding. The wedding was just out side pretoria at The Blades. Both bride and groom looked beautiful and I even spotted some guests that I met a couple of times at previous weddings (always a bonus).
