The two of them met on a dating site, yes thats right – we don’t only see these things in the movies, it actually does happen. Jacoba was the first girl he met on this site and I think he is really really glad that he did it! Its modern day Romance at its best!

After Jo & Jacoba’s wedding in Belgium, they flew to South Africa to celebrate their wedding here with all Jacoba’s friends, family and Jacoba’s 4 sisters and niece who did not make it to the Belgian wedding. It was a gorgeous and very relaxed day at Kloofzight in Muldersdrift, it was extra special because Jacoba’s dad was the minister who married them, I had to swallow my tears because Jacoba and her dad’s eyes, both, had so much emotion of sad and happy in them, even though Jacoba is not Ds. Murry’s only daughter (they are five sisters), I guess fathers will never get used to giving their daughters away – it was very special and I’m so glad to have been a part of it.
